Terms & Conditions

The terms for using the Affordable Healthcare Oklahoma website.

Last updated: October 15, 2026

Using this site

These terms cover your use of affordablehealthcareoklahoma.com. Using the site means you accept them. The pages describe alternatives to health insurance and related topics for Oklahoma residents. They're general information, not an offer, a contract, or a promise of any price, benefit or eligibility result.

Please don't disrupt the site, scrape or copy it wholesale, or submit false information.

Prices

Prices on this site are examples with a stated date, not quotes. Actual amounts depend on the program, your household, age, tobacco use and the options you choose, and they can change. The program's own documents control.

Insurance and health sharing are different

Health care sharing isn't insurance, doesn't guarantee payment of any medical bill, and isn't regulated as insurance. In Oklahoma, the Insurance Department does not regulate health care sharing ministries (36 O.S. § 110(11)). Discount plans aren't insurance either. Read a program's guidelines before you join.

No professional advice

Content on this site isn't medical, legal, tax or financial advice. Affordable Healthcare Oklahoma is not an insurance agency and does not sell insurance. We help individuals and families explore alternatives to insurance, including direct primary care, health care sharing and discount plans. None of our team are licensed insurance agents, and we don't sell, quote or recommend insurance plans. For insurance, visit HealthCare.gov or contact a licensed agent.

Contact permission

By submitting a form or calling, you agree that the advisory firm that handles inquiries from this site may contact you about your request, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can opt out at any time.

Content and links

The text and design of this site belong to Affordable Healthcare Oklahoma. You may share a link or print a page for your own use. Links to other sites are for convenience; we don't control them.

Liability

We work to keep the site accurate, but it's provided "as is." Programs, rules and prices change. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses from using the site, and nothing here limits your rights under Oklahoma consumer protection law.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version.

Health care sharing
Health care sharing ministries are not insurance and are not regulated as insurance. Sharing of medical expenses is voluntary and not guaranteed. Review each organization's guidelines for details, limitations, and state-specific notices.

Oklahoma note
Under 36 O.S. § 110(11), the Oklahoma Insurance Department does not regulate health care sharing ministries and says it cannot provide consumer protections to their members. Disputes are settled with the ministry under its guidelines. Health care sharing is not Minimum Essential Coverage.

Direct primary care
Direct primary care is a membership with a primary care practice. Oklahoma's Health Care Empowerment Act (36 O.S. § 4604) lets patients pay providers directly and says care bought that way is not an offer of insurance. A DPC membership does not pay for specialists, hospital care or emergencies.

Discount plans
THIS PLAN IS NOT INSURANCE and is not intended to replace health insurance. Discount plans give you reduced fees at participating providers; they do not pay or reimburse providers. They are not ACA Qualified Health Plans.

How we're paid
We may receive compensation from some organizations we recommend. This does not change our evaluation of how they work. See our Referral Marketing Disclosure.

Not advice
This page is general information, not medical, legal, tax or financial advice. Prices are examples, not quotes; they depend on your household and can change. Affordable Healthcare Oklahoma is not an insurance agency and does not sell insurance. We help individuals and families explore alternatives to insurance, including direct primary care, health care sharing and discount plans.
